ACADEMIC GOALS

The Habitat Design course studies and deepens all those disciplines that support the project by providing it, on the one hand, with the necessary pragmatic dimension, on the other, that solid theoretical-critical structure and the cultural depth indispensable for a cultured and conscious design.

To this purpose, during the course, in addition to the disciplines inherent in the design and drawing, all those relating to construction materials and the related processing techniques are studied; the history and criticism of architecture, design and figurative arts; the principles behind visual languages such as tools and codes for invention; modeling applied to design.

After a basic first year aimed at founding and consolidating the operating method and the culture of the creative project, in the following two years all the technical aspects and experiences useful to the profession are gradually addressed.
