Visual Communication Designers are professional figures who are much in demand by advertising agencies, production companies, professional firms, and communication companies.
They are able to adapt to the continuous technological evolution of today; to understand the cultural dynamics of the context in which they operate; and to consider the economic and productive aspects involved in any project.
They can work as graphic designer in the various sectors of visual communication, in advertising and integrated communication agencies, and in all publishing sectors.
The course is divided into three teaching cycles, one for each academic year. The cycles consist of lectures and workshops that are divided into three main areas:
- productive technologies, design and representation;
- history, criticism and theories;
- design workshops.
The first year aims to train students in the basic disciplines of graphic design, theoretical as much as practical, in order to approach the later design workshops equipped with the appropriate knowledge.
The second year aims to perfect the preparation undertaken during the first year, in order to shape the student into a professional figure with the official qualification of graphic designer.
The third year moves the training towards the professional specialization of the student as an assistant art director. Obtaining this professional qualification will allow the students, following appropriate experience as an assistant, to work as art directors, a leading figure in the design of visual communication and a natural goal in the career of graphic designers.
