Quasar Institute For Advanced Design
The Game Design course is divided into three study areas…
The goal is to provide students with the means necessary to create high-quality video games. Students will have a unique and innovative environment where they can give life to their projects, supported by expert game designers. The course covers the teaching of the software necessary for the creation of video games from the indie to AAA games, together with a solid theoretical basis on the techniques for designing used in game companies. In addition, the student will have access to all new technologies and tools to experiment, innovate and excel in this field.
Cinematic preview is a new and exciting field where a film is built even before a single scene is shot. Movies like Avengers: The age of Ultron, the Planet of the Apes and many others have used this new tool, benefiting in terms of time and budget. The aim of this address is to provide students, through the tools and knowledge of game design, with the skills to work in the pre-production phase on the creation of films and TV series. In this phase of the program, the planning and organization of a script for the previewing and management of cinematographic sequences with tools such as Unreal Engine and Maya will be taught. The lessons also include animation and visual effects for previsualization scenes.
This part of the course moves on an avant-garde path that aims to think, design and take care of new spaces dedicated to art, using new technologies and knowledge of Game Design to break the walls that divide Humans, Machines and Art.
