ACADEMIC GOALS
Through lectures and workshops, participants are led from the initial concept to the development of the prototype, through design models in the different digital representation modes, deepening the use of software for Nurbs and Mesh modeling. Practically they will deal with Rapid Prototyping methods and techniques.
Widespread attention is also dedicated to the communicative aspect of the product through static and dynamic rendering, shading techniques and Real Time texturing of the models.
The Master also investigates the world of self-production, which sees the designer master of the entire design process, using low-cost techniques for the acquisition of the shape aimed at restyling and the creation of artifacts through the Q-Lab laboratory, equipped with the very latest technologies developed by the large production houses of machinery for the prototyping of experimental and innovative objects.
The goal is to make the students master of the design process through lectures and operational phases: starting from the idea and its representation with different two-dimensional, three-dimensional physical and virtual models, to get to the production of the final prototype.
