The innovative training path will guide you in conceiving, producing and promoting objects bearing new economic, social, productive or relational values, capable of best responding to the evolutionary demands of current Design in relation to the public, critics and the current market .

Academic Goals

Through lessons and workshops, you will be led from the initial concept to the development of the prototype, through design models in different digital representation methods, deepening the use of Nurbs and Mesh modeling software. As you work, you will face Rapid Prototyping methods and techniques.

Ample space is dedicated to the communicative aspect of the product through static and dynamic renderings, shading techniques and Real Time texturing of the models. The Master also investigates the world of self-production, which sees the designer as master of the entire design process, exploiting low-cost techniques for the acquisition of the shape aimed at restyling and the creation of artefacts through the Q-Lab laboratory , equipped with the latest technologies developed by large machinery manufacturing companies for the prototyping of experimental and innovative objects.

The objective is to make you master of the design process through frontal lessons, online lessons and operational phases: starting from the idea and its representation with different two-dimensional, three-dimensional physical and virtual models, up to the production of the final prototype.

The course is accredited by the Ministry under the name “Product Design”.
