Digital image processing
Carola Ghilardi graduated in 2001 from Giancarlo Montelli’s Academy of Illustration and Visual Communication in Rome, specializing in some traditional painting techniques (acrylic, ink and pastels).
She later arrives at digital painting and works in the most disparate areas of illustration, jumping from editorial contexts to advertising ones, up to popular ones.
Her passions are the creation of calendars and maps and since 2016 he has been responsible for the creation of the illustrated imagery for the pavilions and the map of the Maker Faire – European Edition.
Since 2017 she has taught illustration at the Pencil ART school in Rome and
visual communication and image processing at the Quasar Institute for Advanced Design. He collaborates with publishing houses, magazines, advertising agencies and companies including: Gallucci La Spiga, Lapis Edizioni, La Biblioteca, Anicia, Sperling & Kupfer, Maker Faire (Innovacamera), the Municipality of Rome, Doctors Without Borders, La Nuova Ecologia, l ‘Unità, La Repubblica, Mediagames (Lottomatica, Gratta&Vinci), Riga72, Frankie Garage, Edipro, FCA Bank, Kinder + Sport, Pratesi – La Città della Ristoration, Palomar, Qadra, Ciai, SeaShepherd, Buffetti.
