The students of Quasar Institute for Advanced Design have won numerous prizes and awards; among them, we’d like to point out:

  • 2016

    The Trad project wins the second edition of the international contest ReDesign Your Future, promoted by the magazine Legnolab.

  • 2016

    The projects presented by Quasar Institute for Advanced Design win the Festival des Jardins for the third time. The Festival des Jardins is an international call for temporary gardens projects; it’s organized every year by the Conservatoire International des Parcs et Jardins et du Paysage. The Festival takes place in the garden of the Chaumont sur Loire castle, France.

  • 2015

    The Heli project is awarded by Think for Social, an initiative promoted by the Vodafone Foundation.

  • 2012

    First and third place in the Young Creative Contest promoted by Chevrolet.

  • 2011

    Pittogramma wins first place in the Art a Part of Cult(ure) Contest

  • 2007

    The 8V8X8P – Eight Videos for Eight Poems Project is picked for the finals of the Global Junior Challenge International Contest, promoted by the Mondo Digitale Foundation.

  • 2005

    The Water Flute Project wins first place in the Ferrarrelle Contest.

  • 2004

    The projects presented by Quasar Institute for Advanced Design win the Festival des Jardins for the second time.     The Woman in Black and White Project wins second place in the Columbia TriStar Films Italy Contest.

  • 2002

    The Narcissus Lamp Project wins first place in the Ceracchi Contest.

  • 2001

    Three projects by Quasar Institute are awarded at the Ernesto Caiazza International Design Contest: the One or Two project wins first place, whereas the Baby Bag Project and the Malpensa Chair Project win a Special Mention.

  • 1999

    The “Break” stool project wins first place in the Ernesto Caiazza International Design Contest.

  • 1998

    The 0-6 Extendable Cradle, already selected by the 1996 IKEA Contest, wins the Golden Compass Award promoted by ADI (Italian Designers Association).

  • 1996

    The Birch Cradle Project wins a Special Mention in the IKEA International Contest.

  • Moreover, our students have shown their works in museums, exhibitions and events at the international level, such as: the Rome National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, the MAXXI Museum, the Casa dell’Architettura (Architecture House), the European Street Design Challenge, the Fiera di Roma (Rome Fair), the Green and Landscape Festival, the Fiera di Vicenza (Vicenza Fair), the Miraikan Museum (Tokyo), and many more.

Inoltre i nostri studenti hanno esposto progetti in musei, mostre ed eventi di caratura internazionale, come la Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Roma, MAXXI, Casa dell’Architettura, European Street Design Challenge, Fiera di Roma, Festival del Verde e del Paesaggio, Fiera di Vicenza, Museo Miraikan (Tokyo), etc.
